My Hockey Team and Backyard Fun Con't

This is my hockey team, yup, even my daughter plays. Kraft was having a contest for HockeyVille. I think it could have been played in my back yard. Dad spent tons of hours making this ice rink and as of yesterday it was still skateable. We had snow, rain and plus 2 today so we'll see tomorrow if it needs some more work.

MINI'S

Here are some cards I did for the girls at work, inspired by Kristina Werner's mini's. They were a hit and fun and easy to make. My daughter thought she was bringing them to school today. She said "Mom, there 20 kids in my class, not 7 !?!" I had a chuckle

Color Inspiration #41

Check out these cuties. I'm trying to get all my Valentine cards done any way I can. These are this weeks Kristina Werner Color Inspiration. I tricked myself into believing that the little dots and dashes on the ribbons are grey! Cause, I tried to get grey in there, but just couldn't do it.

The stamp is from Whipper Snapper and the red is SU's Riding Hood Red.

I thought I would have a bit more time but I'm back to the run-a-round game. So here's what I came up with. Hope ya like him.

Recipe:
SU's Unfroggetable and Love you so much. Ruby Red ink. The blink is from the $ store again. (I'm going to have to go back there.) The card front is from a Box of Cards from DCWV.

Papertrey Ink is having a challenge and it's a sketch challenge, with the chance to win a TON of Papertrey ribbon! AND I need a card for Nick and Rima and I why dying to use this set.

Some Backyard Winter Fun

These three had a play date this Friday and had a BLAST. They played so much and laughed so much, not one argument of even little disagreement!!!! I enjoyed just listening to them.

This is the first time any of them could stand and see over a six foot fence by themselves without some help from one of us!!! They were fascinated with the bunny tracks.

Along with the skating rink dad built in the back yard he also built a toboggan run into the woods. And, yes, that is me laughing all the way down!!!

Color Inspiration #40

This week's KW's color inspiration was some funky colors. I like going outside the box, 'cause these are some I would have never have thought to put together. I enjoyed my TECC52 sketch so much I did it again. This card I made for Alyson, she turned 30 something but still looks like she's 24!!!

Recipe:
For this card I used SU's "Pattern's pack" paper and "Upsy Daisy" Stamp set. The bling is from "Say it is crystals"
