TECC35

This is my submission for this weeks Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge # 35. I looked through every Christmas stamp set I own and thought I would find some kind of cupcake or fruit cake stamp. Nope. So I settled for this bird. I took me all afternoon, cause Brett was playing!! Great game today. Two more weeks and I'll see Brett(Farve, New York Jets, football) live. Believe me when I say I can't wait!!!

For this card I experimented with a few things. I settled for the Stickles, Candy Cane. The paper is Chatter Box. Red Ribbon Strip and the stamp set is CTMH's Festive Frills and I love it!

CPS #83

I couldn't wait to do this weeks CPS. I ordered some Cricut templates, what seems like mmmmmmonths ago. Actually July, but still, when you're waitin' it's always to long. No?

So yesterday after work while checking the mail box, they finally came!!!!! So add this template with SU's Batty for You. This is what I came up with.

This Week\

I would have posted this yesterday, but Hero's was on. Season premier!!

Science Homework!!

Who says you can't use your scrapping supplies for other things. My son had to make a sign for science class to catch peoples attention. He told me what he wanted to do. And I told him what I was able to do with my Cricut!! and this is what we came up with. I used the Cricut for the first line and the EXPLOSION!!

TECC34

Okay, so the glue's not dry. If I didn't post it now it wouldn't get done. I got to use alot things in the office I haven't used yet. Like, Martha Stewart's Artic glitter set, Crystal Fine. Nana's Nursery paper by DCWV and for the second time, my Janome craft sewing machine. I had to draw the cupcake. I have searched my stock and the local store. NO CUPCAKES!!

This card was done with Taylored Expressions card challenge #34. I almost didn't get to do this card, but I'm glad I did.

Color Inspiration #23

I had to cut the grass before the rain started and I thought I could just get this done in time. I love this stamp set!! It's SU's House of Haunts. It's so fun to use. I got all the colors of the challenge into the house. But my favorite part is the sentiment stamped using Tim Holtz, Distress Embossing powder, peeled paint. The color is a real close match and the effect is great.

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Need I say more????

TECC33

Well it took me all weekend but I finally got it don. This week's example at Taylored Expressions Cupcake challenge #33 showed off new Halloween cupcake stamps, so I thought I would stay with the theme. I created this card using SU House of Haunts. Can I just say I love it!!! and SU's Ghostly Greetinsgs paper and some little bobbin of ribbon I found at the bottom of the ribbon basket which already had adhesive on it!! Score! I embossed the sentiment. I had a really, really busy day today. But had alot of fun. First the F-1 race was exciting and at the end of the day there was football, Jets lost, sniff, poor Brett. That won't stop me for going to New York to see him LIVE!!! Can't wait for that, There will be pics!!

Color Inspiration #22

It's time for a Kristina Werner color inspiration. I started back to work last week which has kept me out of my craft room. Sniff, sniff...
So I ran in this afternoon to make this card real quick, except "So You Think You Can Dance Canada" is on and I can't concentrate. UGH!! So I'll make it fast.

This card was fun to make I used "Kelly Panacci clear stamps. Stamped in CTMH's Vinvarg Berry, Hollyhock and Breeze. SU's Rose Red.

Hope you like it!

Ceecee's Color Challenge is Back!!

Ceecee posted a color challenge this week, it's been awhile. These are really cute votives. And did I mention it's Ceecee's Birthday today!!! Happy Day Ceecee.

CCC10 color chart and image
I used my circle spell binders, the web is a Goosebump sticker from Imaginisce. The crow is from Making Memories "Spellbound" I don't know about you guys, I love birds but can't stand crows. They get into everything. That's why this one is just sittin' there, where ever he wants. I punched the spider with a Martha Stewart punch. I used green petals embossing power. Sentiment is also Making Memories "Spellbound" Seems I usually forget to write the receipe. I so appreciate the receipe when I look at other blogs. So I'm trying to get into the habit of doing it too.

TECC32

This whole idea started with my sisters birthday. We were having a conversation about this press-on eyeshadow, no work involved just place it on. So I got her a Sephora gift. card, I know the picture is bad. This is what happens when you try to rush making a card and get all your pics. But first you get your thumb print full of Basic Black ink from a SU Stampin' Spot. AND then the mess starts!!

So the real cool thing is that Sephora, when you buy a gift card gives you a little compact mirror to put the card in. (no pics, no time). Plus a cool bag and the trimmings so I thouhgt I would use TECC32 to make the card.

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for the purses and then followed the sketch. Here's the finished product. AND she was really surprised. She even asked me if I had my pics after she opened up everthing. I was impressed.

Color Inspiration #21

My daughter has a birthday party this Saturday. So I thought I would use Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration for the this card. Cool shoes.

I finally used my Stamp-a-ma-jig. I love this thing. And the other SU thing I can't live without is the Mat Pack! I used the "Unfrogettable stamp set. Again. I drew the flies with a .005 Prismacolor pen. I didn't have all the SU colors....but I will next week :) Tee hee hee
