Stormy Nights
Last night it rained like crazy. Thunder shook the house. In the morning we woke up to this. At least once a year a tree on this street gets hit by lighting.
Color Challenge #6 - Défi-couleurs #6
Okay, So I was really late with this one. My only saving grace was the Ceecee was in Ottawa all today (SU thingy)!!! Can't wait to see what she comes back with!! The bee on this card is really cute, but hard to see.
Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #10

Well it rained all day, so I had the chance to make two cards. Here are a couple cards (ideas) I worked on today.

Both stamp sets are from CTMH. I have scraps left over and tonight I will make cards with everything that is left over.

Sunday, June 1st
As promised, left over cards.

INDY!!!
Some of you might have noticed for the past three months I had a widget, counting down the days 'till the next Indiana Jones movie. My son asked me if we could see it on opening day. Little did he know that that was plan from day one. I grew up on Hansolo and Indy. I love everything Harrison Ford!!!!
It took alot of work on my part, I'm usually very load at the movies, I didn't want to embarrass my son. Only a few heads turned a few times (maybe 5). All this to say that, THIS WAS THE BEST INDY movie so far. I loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Lots of action! Good story!! When the story started to unroll, and Indy opens a box that has "Rosewell, NewMexico" stamped on it. I knew where the story was going and I was holding on for the ride!!! This is a fantastic movie with great stunts and special effects. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!
BTW, I will see it again, this time with hubby!!

Color Challenge #5 - Défi-couleur #5
It's color challenge time again. Yesterday I went and did a card class at Ceecee's. We used the "Pun Fun" set so I thought I would use it for the color challenge too. I've never seen a pink whale, but I like this one.

RECYCLING!!!!!!!!!

Okay, We recycle, alot. We compost 365 days a year, but Ceecee, really impressed me the first time she gave me a gift! She reused a BAY bag and I had no idea.
And then she did this one, it's TELUS bag. Again, I would have never known if she didn't tell me!! Aren't they great??

Mother's Day
This is what I made for MY mother for mother's day. I also made one
for my mother-in-law. I did this work shop at Ceecee's which she purchased from Andrea Walford. These girls ROCK! The best part was that I cleaned out a hugh part of the scrap pile!!Sorry I don't have a photo of the other one it was pink's and brown's. We did mother's day for mother-in-law on Saturday night. We went to a restaurant Johnny found surfing the net on the lake-shore!! It was built in 1889, really nice. Anyway, I was running out the door and forgot to take picsI. didn't even get to use my light box.

Nick & Rima's Wedding
First came the pig roast, Hayley named him (the pig) Joe. The roast was in honor of Nick and Rima. Nick is a terrific guy! He is one of my husbands University friends. There is a whole group of the them that played football together and they all came to the party. Nick gets the carving honor.

I asked Nick that night what the wedding colors were going to be. To my surprise he said black and white!!! YAY, I was stressing over what the colors could have been. So Saturday morning I made this card.

I printed the inside initials using word and stamped the sentiment with Inkadinkado's wedding set. Then I lined the envelope with the same pattern paper which I used on the the covers scallop.

And finally the wedding. This is Nick and Rima after the "You may now kiss the bride!" The minister is Curtis, he married Johnny and I too. Everything that night was wonderful! We had a great time and Johnny is a dancing fool!!!!!

Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #8
Today I got to use my "LunminArte" (I think they also go by "H2O's") to color this little bird by Imaginisce. I am very fond of the color orange or SU's Pumpkin Pie!! I think I am finally realizing why. If you go through the color challenges I've done in the last little while, just about all of them have orange in them!!!!

Here's my card

I just love the way Kristina sets up the color challenges!
AND!!!! I got myself a Light Tent. now I just have to work on getting lights!!

CCC #4 U R A Star!!!

It's that time again. Ceecee's color challenge #4. I just got SU's Loonies for Littles Stampin' Kit. A fund raiser for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada. Turns out some of the colors for the challenge just happen to be in this kit. I love this kit even you could do this Judy (smile).
Anyhoo.... I used AC's thickers, Stickles, a black pen, and a silver Gelly Roll pen. This was a fun challenge. Thanks Ceecee.

I call this one U R a STAR!
